Available Position

Position Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Department: Finance, Treasury, and Accounts

Location

Workplace: Islamabad, Pakistan
Jurisdiction: The role covers IESCO’s operational areas, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal.

Eligibility Criteria

Education and Experience:

• A member of a recognized professional accounting body with at least 10 years of relevant experience, particularly in public sector companies with total assets of 5 billion rupees or more; OR
• A Master’s degree in Finance from a Higher Education Commission-recognized university with at least 15 years of relevant experience in a similar context.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a senior finance position is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of Corporate Governance Rules for public sector companies.
• Experience in ERP systems implementation and internal audit functions.
• Familiarity with inventory management and procurement controls.
• Understanding Pakistan’s electricity market and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.

Age Limit

Candidates should be up to 55 years of age.

Terms and Conditions

• Contract Duration: The initial contract is for three years, subject to performance review after six months.
